Reflective Writing

I enjoy everything related to theatre and screen performance. It is such a playful theme and it allows you to work in infinite ways. I missed the first introduction day to theatre and screen performance, therefore, i missed a few tasks but still figured how to do them on my own. I could have went further Keith not only the tasks but the project too.

I found myself very interested in a lot of areas from Theatre and screen performance such as the costume design and making, the makeup and prosthetics and the set design, those things bring my artistic creativity to the clouds, there is so many you can do with it and relate it to other history periods as well, other dimensions, it transports you to the place where whatever you are creating exists.

As a team for our project we did a story where i designed the main characters costume and makeup. I’m not happy with the results as i did it in such a short time i was not able to add any textiles or materials to it, although i tried.

I spent the whole half of the day at the workshop, i wanted to create a sample of a part of my dress with wires.

That was the best decision I could have made in so much time. I spent the whole time with Manda teaching me how to do different things i had never learnt how to do and now i got the chance to, ends up, i was pretty good at all of them so now i consider them as an alternative of techniques and materials i could use in further work.

Overall, this is an area i love but is not the one that comes up easier to me, i love the makeup for theatre and screen but i do into see myself doing it for living, or creating costumes, or sets, so i just enjoyed the amazing experience and environment of it.
