"Brodie Neill is a dynamic young designer with a focus toward seamless forms and material sensitivity. Neill originates from Tasmania Australia but has quickly built up an international reputation and an extensive list of prestigious customers.

Neill develops his interest for the form, first at the University of Tasmania, then with a progressive digital approach developed during a Masters degree at the Rhode Island School of Design. After a successful period he worked for top brands in New York, Neill established his current studio in London’s East End, where he applies his seamless, fluid-like designs to a range of objects from production items to special edition pieces.”

Engaged to the the planet.

In 2016, Brodie Neill represented Australia at the inaugural London Design Biennale at Somerset House with a critically acclaimed installation Plastic Effects, which engaged with the issue of ocean plastic waste. Here, he launched his now iconic Gyro table, created from over half a million fragments of ocean plastic. The limited edition design piece is now in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Victoria and University of Tasmania as well as in private collections around the world.

A longstanding champion of using ocean plastic waste to create new materials, Neill presented a multimedia and multi-sensory installation Drop In The Ocean, a commission by the London Design Festival, again engaging with the issue of ocean plastic waste.

In April 2019, Neill will present a new series of design works, which elevates ocean plastic waste to an art form at Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, Italy.

Propelled beyond the design sphere into the realms of environmental activism through his work using ocean plastic waste – a role he has embraced – Neill has become a spokesperson for design to take a leading role in the quest to address the world's ailing issues by speaking at the United Nations and European Parliament, amongst other platforms.

Even tough the thing that attracted me the most to Neill’s work were his chairs, more especially the metal one with smooth circular shapes, I became even more attracted to his work when i learnt about his ocean plastic waste project. He didn’t only bring alive and give an use to an immense amount of micro plastics but he also made them look beautiful. That is the most important thing about this designer to me. The climate and ocean waste crisis includes all of us, and if one designer is using his work to get more attention to that matter and also build something useful out of it, it is a revolutionary act, a beautiful act, an act that recruiters great creativity and thought. Admirable.
